"Presence is the courage to meet life as it is."

This is the opening introduction to this Blog Post written by Maree Piplovick.

After spending time noticing what's next, there's something steadying about simply being with what's here
— the real, everyday moments that make up a life.
No reaching, no forecasting, no trying to shape the future. Just meeting yourself in the present.

This week, I'm letting myself settle into what's already arrived — the rhythms that feel supportive, the choices that feel clear, and the small truths that keep showing up.
For me, what's here looks like spending time reading purely for fun, enjoying the sunshine on my skin, gazing at the sunset on the river, and letting quiet moments be enough.
There's a kind of ease in not rushing ahead, in letting the present hold you.

What's here might look like:
  • the thing you keep returning to
  • the clarity that feels simple, not dramatic
  • the need that's been waiting for attention
  • the steadiness you didn't realize you were craving

There's a gentle beauty in honoring the present — in letting yourself be held by what's already true.
As you move through this week, you might ask:
What feels true for me right now — without changing it, improving it, or reaching for what's next?
Let this be your starting point to devoting time to what's here.
