Family Time During The Holidays

During the holiday season, there may be a lot of changes in the home due to guests and family. 
Children thrive with consistent schedules, and routines. I would highly recommend that your child
stay on schedule throughout the day and night. Communicate with them the day of any changes that will occur. 
By communicating, you are showing respect to your child, and offering a sense of security. 
If you don't already use a visual schedule, create one for the holiday season and add SPECIAL events such as visitors and or family coming to the home. 

If you are traveling with your child, bring things that offer them security, such as a favorite book, toy and or blanket.
